Grayslake firefighters co-hosting blood drive

Grayslake Fire Protection District will co-host a blood drive with LifeSource from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21. It'll occur at the downtown Gryslake firehouse, 160 Hawley St. Officials said the community blood supply relies on donations to meet the needs of local hospitals. The blood donation process typically lasts about 45 minutes. While walk-ins are welcome, appointments are preferred.
