Muslim group brings 'Stop The CrISIS' to COD

With concerns about the growth of the Islamic State and its claim to have perpetrated last week's attacks in Paris, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and its youth and young men's organization will bring its nationwide initiative called "Stop the CrISIS" to the College of DuPage on Wednesday.

Meetings will be held at 11:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in COD's Health and Science Center, Room HSC1234, on the college's Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

Organizers say Stop The CrISIS is part of an international mission aimed at Muslim youths to counter radicalization, terrorism and ignorance.

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association was established in the United States in 1939 and works with young Muslim men and boys across the country.
