Flags flying at half-staff to honor Paris attacks victims

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Flags on public buildings throughout Indiana will be flown at half-staff until sunset Thursday in honor of the victims of the attacks in Paris last week.

President Barack Obama ordered in a proclamation Sunday that all U.S. flags at the White House, federal buildings across the country and American military and diplomatic stations around the world to be lowered to half-staff as a gesture of solidarity with France. Indiana Gov. Mike Pence also sent a press release Sunday asking the state's businesses and residents to lower their flags.

The terrorist rampage Friday across Paris killed 129 people and wounded hundreds more.
