Suns' Morris out with knee injury
PHOENIX (AP) - Markieff Morris missed the Phoenix Suns' game against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night due to a sprained left knee.
The forward was ruled out about 40 minutes before tipoff. Morris was questionable to play before the decision was made, and the Suns inserted Jon Leuer into the starting lineup in his place.
It's Leuer's first regular season start after being acquired from Memphis in the offseason.
Morris is averaging 13 points and five rebounds through eight games for Phoenix.
