NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - David Washington threw for 291 yards and two touchdowns, Ray Lawry and Jeremy Cox each ran 42-yards for a touchdown and Old Dominion recovered from a slow start to post a 31-21 victory over UTEP on Saturday afternoon.

Lawry broke his 42-yard TD run less than a minute into the quarter, and after Leftwich and Washington traded touchdown passes Old Dominion (5-5, 3-3) had the lead for good.

Leftwich finished with 193 yards on 21-for-38 passing for three touchdowns, but was picked off twice by Fellonte Misher.

Zach Pascal led the Monarchs with 12 catches for 145 yards and a touchdown.
