Ibrahimovic puts off talk on future ahead of Euro playoff
STOCKHOLM (AP) - Sweden captain Zlatan Ibrahimovic declined to discuss his future while preparing for the two-leg playoff for the 2016 European Championship, a Nordic derby against Denmark.
Ibrahimovic is not expected to play internationally beyond Euro 2016.
He says on Thursday, "This is nothing I've thought about. I hope we play the European Championship this summer."
He was the fourth highest scorer in qualifying with eight goals, and said Sweden needs to play two good games on Saturday and Tuesday, "not just one."
