Montgomery Road closing for sewer work

Sewer maintenance work will necessitate the closing of both lanes of Montgomery Road at the intersection of Farnsworth Avenue in Aurora starting at 9 p.m. Friday.

All eastbound and westbound traffic will be detoured to Fifth Avenue via Hill Avenue and Farnsworth Avenue. Traffic traveling north on Farnsworth from Ogden Avenue will be allowed to pass through the detour zone.

The closure and detour will end at roughly 7 p.m. Saturday, at which time the normal traffic pattern will resume.
