Palatine Dist. 15 staff to compete in volleyball tournament fundraiser

Palatine Township Elementary School District 15 teachers and other employees will compete against each other on the court Saturday in the D15 Staff Volleyball Tournament.

The tournament, which includes staff from 18 district schools, and will raise money for the District Fifteen Educational Foundation. The foundation helps fund programming throughout the district.

Beginning at 9 a.m., teams will play in competitive and exhibition divisions. The tournament's champions will receive a $300 grant and the Foundation's traveling trophy. The school with the most fans at the tournament will get a $100 spirit grant.

The tournament will take place at Winston Campus, 900 E. Palatine Road, in Palatine. Tickets are $1.
