53/120 vote rescheduled

The corridor land use committee for the Route 53/120 project will meet from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, at the Lake County permit facility, 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville. On Nov. 5, the group voted 14 to 5, with one abstention, in favor of approving a draft land use strategy document. After one member questioned whether that meeting had fully complied with the Open Meetings Act, the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning said it rescheduled the meeting to quell any doubts regarding transparency in the process.
