Best-selling author to sign books in Grayslake

Author G.M. Moore will be selling and signing copies of her Kindle best-seller "Ghosts of Manitowish Waters" Saturday, Nov. 14 and Sunday Nov. 15, at Saddlebrook Farms in Grayslake.

Moore will attend the retirement community's Fall Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day in the property's lake house.

"Ghosts of Manitowish Waters," the author's latest action-adventure novel and first young adult offering, hit No. 1 in Amazon's Kindle store this fall and has a 4-star rating on the site.

Book blogger Sandra Stiles from Musings of a Book Addict called "Ghosts of Manitowish Waters" a wonderful, mysterious read.

"It's exciting and encouraging to see the positive reviews "Ghosts" is receiving," Moore said from her home near Chicago. "I always keep the reluctant reader in mind when I write and strive to keep the books fun and fast-paced. I'm happy to see I achieved that with "Ghosts."

The novel targets ages 13 and older, and its central storyline revolves around a herd of mystical albino deer.

Moore is also the author of "Muskie Attack," "Ancient Elk Hunt" and "Snakehead Invasion," all part of the "Up North Adventure" series that has placed the author in Amazon's Top 100 listings. The children's trilogy targets ages 9-12 and will also be available at the event.
