Police investigate Palatine hit-and-run
A woman was injured in a hit-and-run crash shortly before 9 a.m. Sunday at Palatine Road and Middleton Avenue in Palatine, police said.
The injured woman, who was the driver of one car, sustained nonlife-threatening injuries, said Palatine police Cmdr. Mike Vargas.
Paramedics were called to the scene, but Vargas said additional information about the injured woman was not available.
The driver of the second car drove off, according to reports.
Police are investigating the accident, Vargas said, and “can't and won't divulge any information until the investigation is closed.”
