Grass Lake Road to close

The Lake County Division of Transportation will close Grass Lake Road in Lake Villa to through traffic at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, from Route 83 to Deep Lake Road. The road closure and detour is scheduled to reopen to traffic the evening of Friday, Nov. 6. The emergency closure is necessary to replace the culvert under Grass Lake Road, east of Route 83 and west of Villa Rica Road. The detour route is Route 83 to Route 173 to Deep Lake Road.
