NCH offers free programs for seniors in November

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (November 3, 2015) - Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) is hosting several free programs for adults over age 55 in November at the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road, Arlington Heights. To register for the following programs at the Senior Center, call 847-253-5532. You do not need to be an Arlington Heights resident to attend.

• Thursday, November 5 - The forces involved in spinal stenosis - 11 a.m. to noon

• Thursday, November 12 - Anxiety education and support group - 10 to 11 a.m.

• Thursday, November 12 - Medical care: Where do I go and what do I do? - 11 a.m. to noon

• Friday, November 13 - Diabetes education: Eat this, not that during the holidays - 9 to 10 a.m.

• Wednesday, November 18 - Parkinson's support group - 6:30 to 8 p.m.

• Thursday, November 19 - Emergency preparation and safety in the home - 11 a.m. to noon

• Thursday, November 19 - Stroke support group - 2 to 3:30 p.m.

• Friday, November 20 - Lunch and learn: The latest on what's hot in lifestyle medicine - noon to 1:30 p.m.
