No. 11 Florida could be without Sharpe, Ivey against Vandy

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - No. 11 Florida could be without two starting offensive linemen against Vanderbilt on Saturday.

Coach Jim McElwain said Monday that left tackle David Sharpe is wearing a walking boot and "probably won't go" against the Commodores. Left guard Martez Ivey has swelling in his left knee, an injury that caused him to miss the first two games of the season.

The coach says, "We've got some things we need to adjust up front. That's all part of the game."

McElwain expects graduate transfer Mason Halter to move from right tackle to left tackle, and freshman Fred Johnson will step in at right tackle. Antonio Riles likely would step in for Ivey if he can't play.

McElwain says, "Whoever lines up on the offensive line, they will do a heck of a job and I'll be excited for them to play."
