Officials: No injuries in Naperville fire
No injuries were reported after a duplex fire Friday night in Naperville, officials said.
Crews were called just before 7 p.m. to the 2700 block of Cedar Glade Drive after receiving a 911 call from a passer-by, according to a news release from the Naperville Fire Department. Firefighters were able to clear the smoke and, while the duplex was damaged on the outside and there was smoke damage inside, the building was deemed livable and residents were allowed back in, firefighters said.
The fire, which originated on the front porch, was determined to be accidental, according to the release.
The neighboring building did not sustain damage.
