Thelma Cornell Spain Artwork at Des Plaines Library

During the month of November, the exquisite watercolors of artist and teacher Thelma Cornell Spain, will be on display at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood Street. Thelma, life member and past president of the Des Plaines Art Guild (dpag.org) has taught for many years and has done numerous watercolor demonstrations throughout the area. Her love of nature is shown through the fluidity and colors of her brush strokes, which are simple, yet striking. Thelma's watercolor paintings have been collected by admirers throughout the U.S. and worldwide and she is the recipient of many awards.
