Oakton faculty art on display in new exhibition

Oakton Community College is featuring the artwork of its faculty members next month at the Koehnline Museum of Art on the school's Des Plaines campus.

The free exhibition, ID Show 2015, runs from Nov. 5 through Nov. 25. On opening night next Thursday, the public is invited to meet the artists at a free reception with refreshments, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Some of the artwork includes paintings, photography, ceramics and digital art.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
