Sidewalk construction in Prospect Heights
The City of Prospect Heights has obtained an Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program grant to install sidewalks along Willow Road from Schoenbeck Road east to just past Tomah Avenue, which will connect with the existing sidewalk in Arlington Heights. The purpose of the sidewalk is for pedestrian safety. The sidewalks will be located on the north side of West Willow Road only. The construction is expected to be completed by the winter. Personal property in the city right of way, such as plants, bushes or lawn ornaments will need to be removed. The work will be done by A-Lamp Construction and overseen by Jon Zuhr from Gewalt Hamilton Associates Inc.
