1. Stormy weather:

With rain forecast for Saturday, Glenbard West has opted to host Moline on the FieldTurf at cross-town rival Glenbard South rather than in the mud at Duchon Field.

2. Second season success:

Naperville Central's 14-7 win over Bolingbrook marked the program's 11th playoff win in its last three appearances. The Redhawks haven't lost a first-round game since 2008.

3. Scoring surge:

IC Catholic Prep scored at will in a 45-7 win over Winnebago, but it's actually the third-highest playoff point total in its history. They scored 59 points in a 2012 game and 52 in 2008.
