Three people hospitalized after rollover crash near Grayslake

Three people were taken to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville after a rollover crash involving two vehicles near Grayslake.
According to the Lake County sheriff's office, the crash occurred around 2:20 p.m.
Two vehicles, a 2001 Volkswagen Passat and a 2009 Chevrolet Equinox, were headed east on Rollins Road west of Route 45 when they collided and went off the roadway.
Both vehicles, one of which contained a child, rolled over.
According to firefighters, one victim had to be cut from the Equinox.
The crash remains under investigation and traffic citations are pending, according to the sheriff's office.
