Outlook: The season began with great promise for Maine West, which won its first two games. But the Warriors have gone just 1-5 since that start and missed the playoffs for 13th consecutive year. But with quarterback Jake Riportella and running back Marteen Robinson both returning next season, coach Jason Kradman has reason to be optimistic.
