Palatine library celebrates Sinatra's 100th birthday

Come to Palatine Public Library to enjoy the films and songs of Frank Sinatra to celebrate the anniversary of his 100th year.

These programs highlight his acting and singing career while bringing back fond memories to the audience.

On Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 7-8 p.m., film expert Steven Frenzel shares clips and stories of the Sinatra movies that made us love this legend. Sinatra was a top star in Hollywood and won the supporting actor Oscar for his role in the 1953 movie "From Here to Eternity."

The celebration continues with a musical tribute performed by Chicago vocalist Chris Colletti from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15.
