Enjoy Dia de los Muertos activities in Des Plaines
After the Halloween Parade in downtown Des Plaines Saturday, Oct. 24, children are invited to paint sugar skulls, race pumpkins, and view Día de los Muertos altars from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Des Plaines History Center, 781 Pearson St.
Sugar skull painting is $3 per child for nonmembers, $2 for members.

These Día de los Muertos events are sponsored by the Des Plaines History Center and the Kiwanis Club of Des Plaines. The History Center is supported by the City of Des Plaines, the Des Plaines Park District, its members, and other local business and community contributors.
