Dredging company CEO resigns
OAK BROOK - Jonathan W. Berger, CEO and director of Great Lakes Dredge & Dock announced his retirement from the company, the company announced. In a statement, the company said Berger's retirement will be April 13, 2017, or a date chosen by the board of directors. In addition, two board members have resigned from the board, the company said. Nathan D. Leight, who was director and chairman of the board, and Denise E. Dickins, director and chair of the company's audit committee, tendered their resignations last week. The board elected Robert Uhler as a director. Uhler is president and owner of The Uhler Group, a privately held strategy and marketing firm that assists companies with successful execution of strategic objectives.
