Dundee Rotary Club offers free Veteran's Day luncheon Nov. 10

Dundee Township veterans are invited to attend the free annual Veterans Day luncheon, sponsored by the Dundee Township Rotary Club, on Tuesday, Nov. 10. It will be held at noon at the Tri-City Evergreen Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2298, 117 First St. in West Dundee.

Speaker for the luncheon is Michael Woods, president of A Warriors Mind, a nonprofit organization designed to rebuild the veteran community through events, showcasing veterans entrepreneurs, helping individual families, promoting a fit lifestyle, and more.

"We want to connect with other veteran nonprofits that are fighting the good fight so we can work together in the battle against the 22 veteran suicides taking place everyday," Woods said. "As former service members, we know it is a tough road sometimes and you don't have to go it alone."

The annual Veterans Day Luncheon honors Dundee Township area veterans who have served our country in all branches of the service.
