Village not using common sense

Wow! The village of Mundelein government is getting more ridiculous as time passes.

First, you outlaw post signs at businesses, so businesses, like Bill's Pub, have to apply for an exemption to keep their original signs. Plus, village money will be used to assist businesses that replace their signs. How business friendly is that?

Hey, that is my tax dollars.

Now, the proposal is to limit parking to one side of the street for odd-numbered houses from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. on odd-numbered dates and then limit parking to the other side of the street for even-numbered houses from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. on even-numbered dates.

That would be so confusing, especially if someone had overnight guests. On my street, parking is restricted to the west side of the street 24/7. It's been that way for decades. And, it works.

Please, get back to working with your constituents and not against us. Let's once again become a friendly place to live, do business and work.
