Families enjoy autumn, Halloween fun at Lombard's Spooktacular
A colorful celebration of Halloween, autumn and candy took place in downtown Lombard Sunday afternoon, during Lombard Town Centre's 10th annual Spooktacular Fall Fest.
Children and pets sported costumes at the event, which drew in hundreds of people despite the cool weather.
For just $1 per child, families had a chance to decorate pumpkins, trick-or-treat at local businesses, visit a petting zoo, take part in an obstacle course and scavenger hunt, and enjoy fall treats like apple cider.
