Deerfield 21, Maine West 14: Maine West's football team saw its playoff hopes end Friday in a 21-14 loss to visiting Deerfield in Central Suburban North play.

The Warriors have dropped three straight in conference play, falling to 3-5 overall and 1-3 in the CSL North.

Maine West wraps up its seasons with a Week 9 contest at Glenbrook North.
