More District 50 contract talks

More contract talks are scheduled between an employee union and negotiators for the Gurnee-based Woodland Elementary District 50 school board. District 50 representatives and the Woodland Council union met in the presence of a federal mediator for a little more than six hours Thursday evening and agreed to continue negotiating. The next bargaining sessions are set for Thursday, Oct. 22, and Wednesday, Oct. 28. "We are pleased to have scheduled two additional meetings," said Woodland school board President Chris Schrantz.
