Share your vision for downtown Bartlett Nov. 4

Attend the upcoming community forum, "Future Downtown Bartlett - How Do You Envision It?," at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, at the Bartlett Hills Golf Club, 800 W. Oneida Ave.

The village has been selected to receive a technical assistance grant from the Regional Transportation Authority to develop a downtown transit-oriented development plan.

A steering committee of local business owners, residents, elected village officials and staff, and representatives from the RTA and Metra has been formed. They will work with planning consultants on crafting this plan over the next several months.

The first in a series of input sessions is planned for Nov. 4.

Please come to this community input meeting to discuss Bartlett's downtown.

Using both whole-group discussion and smaller focus circles, many topics will be addressed, including business attraction and economic development, transportation, train station access, parking and pedestrian and bike access, zoning and development opportunities.

For information, contact Tony Fradin, Bartlett Economic Development Coordinator, at (630) 540-5940 or tfradin@vbartlett.org.
