Northwest Community acquires WomanCare facility

Northwest Community Healthcare has acquired the WomanCare Breast and Bone Density Center in Arlington Heights.

The facility at 1410 N. Arlington Heights Road will be renamed NCH Breast Center at Arlington Heights Road. It will continue to offer digital mammography exams, bone density tests and breast ultrasounds.

"This acquisition expands NCH's network of more than 20 sites of care and positions us as a leader in providing healthcare services for women in our community," Chief Operating Officer Michael Hartke said.

The hospital has four mammography locations in Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove and Schaumburg.

"The new NCH Breast Center at Arlington Heights Road will continue to offer the personalized, professional care that women in our community have come to expect," says Carl Cucco, M.D., who founded WomanCare in 1985. "We share a common philosophy of putting our patients first."
