Free campfire event at Greenbelt

Toast marshmallows and enjoy nature Friday night in a free program at the Greenbelt Cultural Center near North Chicago. Organized by the Lake County Forest Preserve District, the community campfire will run from 7 to 9 p.m. at the center, 1215 Green Bay Road. It's open to anyone. People should bring blankets or chairs.
