Students at Kyuki-Do Martial Arts visit Community Crisis Center

The Community Crisis Center in Elgin received an unexpected surprise when Kyuki-Do Martial Arts of Elgin visited on Wednesday, Oct. 15.

During the month of September, the martial arts school pledged to their students that a specific amount of each new enrollment was being donated to the Crisis Center.

According to Master Jeff Kim, owner of the academy, "We are constantly striving to be an example to our students of leadership in our community. Over the years, we have done various activities to benefit CCC and use it as a training tool for our students. We are delighted to donate $120 on behalf of our martial arts community and wish it could be more."
