NCH acquires WomanCare Breast and Bone Density Center

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (October 15, 2015) - Northwest Community Healthcare (NCH) announced today that it has completed the acquisition of the WomanCare Breast and Bone Density Center in Arlington Heights. As a result, the facility will now be known as the NCH Breast Center at Arlington Heights Road.

The new entity at 1410 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, will continue offering full-field digital mammography exams, bone density tests and breast ultrasounds. The center averages 15,000 mammography tests per year, 4,500 bone density tests and 1,600 breast ultrasounds.

"This acquisition expands NCH's network of more than 20 sites of care and positions us as a leader in providing healthcare services for women in our community," says Michael Hartke, COO. "We now provide flexible scheduling at four mammography locations in Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove and Schaumburg."

"The new NCH Breast Center at Arlington Heights Road will continue to offer the personalized, professional care that women in our community have come to expect," says Carl Cucco, M.D., a board-certified OB/GYN on the NCH Medical Staff who founded WomanCare in 1985.
