True answers on guns hard to find
What happened in Oregon was something no one expected. Why? Good question, but does anyone have the answer?
The media coverage and analysis did not give a specific answer. What encourages or shows any signs someone will do this horrible act? No one can put their finger on why.
All the experts can give their opinions but this does not stop the tragedies. We talk about gun control but would this have helped?
Oregon is pro gun and very sensitive to this issue. This young man had the know-how to get 13 guns, which were easily obtained.
The applications for guns must be closely scrutinized and have some way of making the right decision in allowing someone to purchase.
His name, the gunman was plastered all over the news and it made it appear he was important. He was not. He targeted Christians and this in itself showed he was insecure.
A statement was made on the news that "these actions are common." Common, I think not. What should we do as elected officials to find a solution?
Some will say gun control and others will indicate this is taking away our rights to bear arms. I am an average everyday person, and I cannot judge and only God can.
