Shannon McNamara Memorial Run Oct. 25 in Rolling Meadows

The Shannon McNamara 15th Annual Memorial 5K Run/2 Mile Walk will be held at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Rolling Meadows High School field house, 2901 Central Road in Rolling Meadows.

Proceeds go toward the Shannon McNamara Scholarship Fund. McNamara, a Rolling Meadows graduate, was murdered in 2001 in her off-campus college apartment. The scholarship goes to a senior who exemplifies McNamara's goals in school and in the community.
