Maine East band performs musical tribute to veterans Friday

Veterans will be honored during a band concert Friday night before the Maine East High School varsity football game.

All veterans are welcome to attend and be honored at the pregame concert, a "Veteran's Salute," performed by the Maine East band to recognize the recent 70th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Admission is free for veterans, who are asked to arrive by 6:30 p.m. Maine East takes on Highland Park after the concert.
