Concert band to perform fall show

The Arlington Heights Community Concert Band, in partnership with District 214 Community Education, will hold its first free concert of the season at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, in the auditorium of Forest View Educational Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights.

Musical director Mark Hengesh has chosen a variety of fall tunes ranging from marches, musical/movie selections, classical and newer concert band pieces.

Tickets can be reserved by emailing ahccbtickets@gmail.com or calling (847) 718-7702. Remaining tickets will be available at the door.

This dedicated ensemble of 65-plus musicians has been culturally enriching the community for more than 35 years. Most members are not professional musicians and come to rehearsals after their regular work hours to prepare for the next performance. New members are always welcome.
