Berdych, Garcia-Lopez qualify for Shenzhen Open final

SHENZHEN, China (AP) - Tomas Berdych and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez won their semifinals after multiple rain delays at the Shenzhen Open and will meet in a Monday final.

Berdych beat 2014 finalist Tommy Robredo 6-1, 6-4 and fourth-seeded Garcia-Lopez rallied to beat second-seeded Marin Cilic 1-6, 7-5, 6-3 on Sunday in semifinal matches that were washed out the previous day.

Berdych was ahead 6-1, 3-3, deuce, when rain disrupted the play. He eventually returned to court to finish it off and advance to the final, where he'll be vying for his first ATP Tour title since Stockholm last year.

"I tried to win the three previous finals this year and I will try to do the same tomorrow," Berdych said. "I have to ... bring all my weapons to win the title."
