Bilingual parent meeting at Woodland

Woodland Elementary District 50 will host its first Bilingual Parent Advisory Council meeting of the year at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 7. It'll be at the Woodland Elementary East School gymnasium, 17261 W. Gages Lake Road, Gages Lake. The meeting is for bilingual parents with students in the English Language Learners, Bilingual or Dual Language programs. Topics will include the importance of using your native language at home.
