Juried art exhibit opens Oct. 9 at College of Lake County

College of Lake County's 35th annual Recent Works: A Juried Competition exhibit runs Oct. 9 through Nov. 15 in the Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art on the school's Grayslake Campus. About $1,000 in cash prizes and purchase awards will be given to artists selected for the exhibit. An opening reception, which is free and open to the public, is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, in the gallery.
