Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher in early trading Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery gained 6.50 cents to $5.1920 a bushel; December corn was 2.50 cents higher at $3.9340 a bushel; December oats was .50 cents higher at 2.2720 a bushel; while November soybeans was higher 2.50 cents to 8.9460 a bushel.

Beef higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was .95 cent higher at $1.3188 a pound; November feeder cattle was 1.15 cent higher at $1.7375 a pound; December lean hogs lost 1.45 cents to $.6528 a pound.
