Dundee Township Park District Fall Art Show continues Sunday

The Dundee Township Park District Fall Art Show began Saturday with perfect weather.

More than 100 paintings are on display from a variety of area artists. Watercolor, oil and colored pencil art work is for sale, and artists are present for visitors to meet and discuss their works.

There is no admission fee. One painting is being raffled, with proceeds going to the Dundee Township Park District Senior Center. The show will continue from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Senior Center wing at the Rakow Center, 665 Barrington Ave., Carpentersville.

The Senior Center for those 50 or older offers a variety of classes, special events, day trips, fitness programs, card playing groups, social clubs and more. It is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
