Bill's Pizza asking Mundelein to keep neon sign

The owners of Bill's Pizza & Pub, 624 S. Lake St., have requested a variance from Mundelein's sign ordinance so they can keep the restaurant's trademark neon sign. The village's community and economic development committee will consider the request at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 28, at village hall, 300 Plaza Circle. The village board will discuss the proposal when it meets at 7 p.m.
