Kane County Democrats for Bernie Sanders

Kane County residents are invited to attend a Friends of Bernie Sanders event at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Baker Community Center, 101 S. Second St. in St. Charles.

Even if they are not interested in Bernie, some local speakers will have something to say about him and, throughout the evening here and there, there will be patriotic songs that they can have some fun with because they can sing along. There will be great songs they've known forever. There will be word sheet copies. Of course, they don't have to sing … just enjoy!

So, come and have a good time, and see how a grass-roots group of citizens of all backgrounds works together and does its own thing without support from any national campaign or special interest powers.

Bring a friend for a fun time, and watch community action work.
