Carmel Catholic stays unbeaten in ESCC
Carmel Catholic's girls golf team carded a 163 and defeated host Marian Central (175) at Boone Creek Golf Course in Bull Valley on Thursday.
Carmel improved to 8-1 on the season and 3-0 in the East Suburban Catholic Conference.
Kayla Ryan and Alexa Amato of the Corsairs both fired a 39, sharing medalist honors. Charlotte Roberts had a 42 for Carmel, while both Erin Popielewski and Danielle Savovich shot a 43.
Marian Central got a 39 from Sophia Archos.
Carmel will seek its third ESCC title in a row Monday at Village Green in Woodridge.
