Gadomski sets tone for a Lake Zurich win

Lake Zurich d. Zion-Benton: At Shepherd's Crook, Matt Gadomski fired a 37 to earn medalist honors and lead the visiting Bears (153) past the Zee-Bees (183).

Scott Finley had a 38 for Lake Zurich, while Nate Hughes and Dan Angelina each had a 39.

Lake Forest d. Mundelein: At Steeple Chase, the Scouts won with a 143, as sophomore Scott Frevert fired a 2-under-par 34.

Mundelein (153) got a 36 from Tyler White and 38s from Brett Parola and Ryan Magee.

Grayslake Central d. Wauconda: At Countryside, the Rams shot a 167 to beat the host Bulldogs (195), as Kyle Reynolds and Michael Sisk each shot a 40.

Wauconda was paced by Will Rudd's 47.
