Riverwalk brims with art in Naperville
Art abounds no matter the location to the trained eye.
But anyone could spot an artistic invasion Saturday and Sunday in Naperville, as the Naperville Art League hosted the 30th annual Riverwalk Fine Art Fair.
White-topped booths brimmed with sculpture, paintings, photos, pottery, jewelry and more - all carefully crafted to please the eye.
Pieces for sale paired with the plantings and peaceful resting spots of the Riverwalk to create a picturesque scene as more than 100 art creators vied to be Best in Show or win other awards.
The event has taken place as summer turns to fall since it was founded by a Naperville developer and the Naperville Art League in 1986.
