Huntley park goes to the dogs

The seventh annual Dog-tober Fest at Huntley's Deicke Park on Sunday celebrated the love for man's best friend.

It was pretty much Las Vegas for dogs, with products, food, various services, and rescue and shelter organizations from in and around the community.

People could do everything from meeting a dog looking for a home to buying a new collar or homemade treats. There were raffles, contests, dog sports demos and even a blessing of pets.
