Willowbrook stops Hinsdale South

Willowbrook 27, Hinsdale South 13:

The Warriors (2-2, 1-1) broke a 6-6 halftime tie with a pair of third-quarter touchdown passes from Billy Degnan to Jonathan Kelso.

Willowbrook led the West Suburban Gold game 20-6 at that point but Hinsdale South (2-2, 1-1) rallied to within 20-13 in the fourth quarter on a Sean McCormack touchdown pass. The Warriors put the game out of reach on another Degnan touchdown toss, this one to Mark Molitor.

Willowbrook looks to keep its momentum going with next week's WSC crossover matchup against York while Hinsdale South takes on Proviso East in a Gold game.
